Mireia Bonich is a Chemical Engineer with a passion for advancing biomedical technology through interdisciplinary research. Currently, she is conducting research at MIT and works as an associate researcher at Salmoss Biotech. Her work focuses on the development of next-generation biomaterials for bone regeneration, aiming to create sustainable, biocompatible solutions for maxillofacial application.

Mireia brings a strong background in vascular tissue engineering, having contributed to the functionalization of bioresorbable polymeric stents and the development of decellularized grafts for coronary artery bypass surgery. Her experience also spans industrial process optimization and analytical chemistry, giving her an applied perspective on biomaterials design.
